A senior member of the Lions team, Stuart has being known to offer quiet words of kindness and encouragement to the younger members of the team.
Over the last year Stuart has embraced his Judaism and is currently undertaking his training to become a fully qualified Rabbi; Haxby’s own ‘Galloping Rabbi’ feels that regardless of the rules of his religion, playing for the Lions on the Sabbath is acceptable as truth be told, he doesn’t really do any work.
