Haxby United compete in the York Minster Engineering Saturday afternoon football league. We have two teams; the first team play in Premier division, and the reserve team in Reserve Division A. We are based in Haxby, on the Ethel Ward playing fields and have strong links with the local community, particulary with the junior football sides.
The club has achieved the F.A's Community Charter Standard and supports the Respect campaign. We are always on the lookout for new players, commitee members, volunteers, sponsors etc. If you would like to get involved in any way then please contact us via email (haxbyunited@live.co.uk), or come and meet us on match days, Saturday from 13:30, or at training, Tuesday evenings from 18:30.

18/12/2011 - Happy New Year!
Haxby United would like to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We would like to thank everyone involved in the the Christmas raffle for their help and in particular The Coop, Sainsbury's, The Red Lion, The Jinnah takeaway and Threshers for donating prizes. The draw was held on the 17th, and all prize winners will be informed shortly.
05/12/2011 - Christmas Raffle tickets on sale.
Haxby United are hosting a Christmas raffle to raise much needed funds for the club. Tickets are available from all club members and are priced at £1 each. Prizes include £100 cash, a trip for 2 to Amsterdam and a host of other Christmas goodies such as spirits, meats and chocolates. The draw is due to be held on the 17th December at Haxby Sports and Social Club.
23/10/2011 - Ron at the helm...
Chris Watkinson has stepped down as Chairman of the club following his decision to take on the management of the reserve team. Ron Wathey has kindly offered to take on the role of chair. Ron's close links to Haxby WMC should provide the club with a stronger foundation as we look to increase our fundraising. Chris has been Chairman since 2006, during which time the club won the Premier league and Reserve A titles. The club wishes Ron and Chris the best of luck in their new roles.
18/09/2011 - Dave Heard Departs...
The first team management saga continues as Dave Heard leaves the club, going to manage Selby Town in the Northern Counties league. The club would like to thank Dave and the lads who are leaving for their work this season and wish them all well. Steve Nicholson will now take charge of the first team with Chris Watkinson temporarily taking over the running of the reserves. See the (media) page for more details.
01/07/2011 - New Management Team
Dave Heard has been appointed as the new first team manager after Dean Rogerson stepped down. Dave comes from Tadcaster Magnets where he won Division 4 with a fantastic record. He is joined by assisitant Duncan. Steve Nicholson will move from first team assistant to take over from Ron Wathey as reserve team manager.
