Haxby United is ran by a committee of volunteers, all of whom give up their spare time to keep the club functioning season to season.
Chairman - Ron Wathey
Ron joined the committee in 2010 and took over as reserve team manager for the 2010-2011 season. Despite keeping the resers in Reserve A, Ron stepped down to let Steve Nicholson run the side. Ron took over as Chair early in the 2011-12 season - but insists that his new role will not have an adverse effect on the quality of the cheese and onion sandwiches he turns out after matches!
Secretary - Paul Wishart
Former Wigginton Black Horse stalwart, Paul joined United as secretary in 2006. Paul's hard work has got us through some tough times, and thankfully he's a glutton for punishment as he remains in the role!
Treasurer - Steven Crouch
Never an easy task at this club, Steven has been treasurer now for 5 years and we haven't gone bust... yet!!
1st Team Manager - Steve Nicholson
Former first team Keeper, Steve has been involved in Local football in Haxby forever. After helping run the Reserves with Ron last year, Steve has stepped up and is now in charge of the First team. Steve is an F.A qualified referee, which is a surprise to everyone in ear shot of Ethel Ward on a Saturday afternoon!
Reserve Team Manager - Chris Watkinson
Chris was chairman at Haxby & Wigginton F.C and became secretary of the club when the two Haxby teams merged. The club was close to folding when Chris joined us, and since then we've won Cups and Titles, including the Premier league and Reserve A title. Chris took over as Chair from Paul Waddington in 2006, and at the last count had managed to scare off 10 managers! Chris stepped down as Chairman when he took over the running of the reserves early in the 2011-12 season.
Committee Member - Chris Drummond
Chris played for Haxby & Wigginton at the start of his career, and has now clocked up many seasons at club making him the most experienced player, a title he has owned since 2000! Chris has won the Reserve Cup, and Reserve A and B titles.
Committee Member - Marc Pearson
'Eddy' has played for the reserves for over 10 years and in that time has managed 2 first team appearances and a few shots on target! Eddy has won the Reserve Cup, and Reserve A and B titles.
